One of the primary purposes of the Acarological Society of America is to reward and encourage high-quality scientific research on mites and ticks. We are very interested in encouraging students to enter the discipline of acarology by rewarding them for extraordinary research projects and presentations. We also support student travel to attend scientific meetings and deliver presentations on the subject of acarology.
